We have arrived
Ok... So this post is a day late, but we arrived in Grenada safely yesterday.
Our rooms have the best sea view I have ever seen (the students have what looks like a house to themselves!)
The flight worked out to about 10 hours, which to be honest wasn't as bad as it sounds.
Today we filmed some workshops with the connecting vibes dance company, which entailed them teaching dance to some Grenada school children.
We have had 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) which was of fine Grenadian cuisine, and I have actually found fish that I like (swordfish).
We have now settled into a somewhat rainy paradise... I will upload some photos tomorrow, at this present moment, we have all connected to wifi and it is as if the Internet has just been invented!

Grenada: Pre-Planning
On Tuesday 28th May 2013, three of the Hertford Regional College Media students will travel to Grenada.
They will be working in conjunction with the Connecting Vibes Dance company from both City and Islington College and Baltimore USA.
The students will be filming a tour that has been planned by the Dance company, with the intention of creating a Documentary.
The tour will be taking place in several locations on the island, including local schools and television networks. There are also opportunities for some skills workshops, allowing the students to become accustom to the culture.
The intention of this blog is to document all that happens whilst in Grenada, with regular blog posts and images being showcased.
This is a perfect opportunity for the learners to explore the Media industry as well as gaining experience working on location.
