Thursday 30th May 2013
We were able to get a lie in today as we were not leaving the apartments until 11am.
We made our way into the capital, St. George's for connectingvibes* dance rehearsals in the national museum (there are two dance studios).
The students were able of film some of the rehearsals which will be incorporated into the documentary.
As the day drew on, I decided that it was time for use to get some shots of Grenada, as we had already accumulated over 100GB of footage of the rehearsals and workshops, so we ventured off on our own into the city (it's more like a town).
We climbed a fort (Fort George) which had spectacular views of the island, ocean and some strange plants.
We tried to get as creative as we could in the scorching heat and managed to get some amazing shots of the harbour.
Since we have been here, it has rained everyday, although when the rain stopped it was still baking hot, however overcast.
We had Caribbean breakfast which entailed spiced eggs, turkey and pork sausage, sol fish and salad (for breakfast, I know!) and for lunch we had more spiced fish, chicken rice and salad and then a sandwich for dinner. (It is safe to say the students are trying to come to terms of there being no McDonalds on the island, however there is KFC).
